On an area of  3,000 m², some 1,791 artifacts are displayed in a pleasant light, which guides the visitor through different eras of Egyptian history and culture. In addition to some landmarks such as the pinnacle of the statue of Meritamun, daughter and royal wife of Ramesses II, this object was once excavated at the Ramesseum in Luxor.

However, with its exhibits, the museum shows not so much monumental statues from a glorious history, but documents of everyday life from the time of the pharaohs to Roman history and modern Egypt. Enjoy every moment in the museum. One of the directions of the exhibition is called “Beauty and luxury”, which showcases furniture and cosmetics such as hair ornaments, wigs, creams, perfumes and jewelry of the ancient Egyptians.
Sports such as hunting and fishing are shown, as well as musical instruments, dance scenes and musical performances from the time of the pharaohs to the present day. The model shows how the ancient Egyptians made perfume and decorated their tombs.
